It’s the big, bold, red headline screaming at me from the cover of a popular health magazine.

Grrr.

You won’t hear this type of quick-fix, one-size-fits-all, wake-up-skinny stuff from me. No way.

I believe every person has his or her own food and lifestyle habits, needs and preferences. And that lasting change takes time.

A “diet” or lifestyle that works for one person may not work for another. It's all about what your body is telling you; not what some celebrity, your best friend or fad diet book is preaching.

And, it's about living the healthiest life you can enjoy, not the healthiest life you can tolerate.

Honestly, if your life is simply tolerable, you're not likely to keep living it this way and you’re sure as heck not having much fun.
